Team Liquid knocked Aster out of ESL One Berlin
🇪🇺Team Liquid beat 🇨🇳Team Aster with a 2-0 score and advanced to the next round of the lower bracket. Today, Liquid will still play against 🇪🇺Tundra Esports after the 🇵🇪EG – 🇹🇭Talon Esports match.
The start of the first map was equal: there was no clear leader in kills or gold advantage. From the 20th minute, Liquid began to gain the advantage, but one bad fight and a dieback from 🇸🇪Michael "miCKe" Vu seemed to give hope to the Chinese team. Despite this, Liquid pulled themselves together, stopped making mistakes, and confidently took the map in their favor.
The second map was much easier for Liquid. miCKe on Alchemist gained his critical mass and, on top of that, with some lucky teamfights, knocked Aster out of the tournament.
Team Aster finished 7th-8th at the ESL One Berlin Major 2023 and earned $12,500 + 200 DPC points.
