Skem Joins Team Nemesis as Head Coach for TI14
Shopify Rebellion support player skem will attend The International 2025 – not as a player, but as a coach. He will take on the role of head coach for Team Nemesis at the upcoming event.
Currently ranked 2nd on the Southeast Asian leaderboard, skem failed to qualify for The International 2025 through the North American qualifiers after Shopify Rebellion suffered a surprising loss to Wildcard Gaming in the Grand Final.
Following this setback, the Shopify Rebellion squad stuck together to compete at the Esports World Cup 2025 tournament, where they exited in last-place after losing to Team Yandex in the Elimination Gauntlet. As a result, the team will not be participating in any notable events until The International ends.
Meanwhile, Team Nemesis had one of the toughest journeys to TI14. The Filipino squad began their run in the open qualifiers and ultimately defeated Talon Esports to secure the final regional slot, pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the entire qualifier.
Though the future of the Shopify Rebellion roster remains uncertain, skem has been allowed to join Team Nemesis as an extra pair of hands for the event.
