PSG.LGD announced a boycott of Nike
Chinese Esports team PSG.LGD has boycotted Nike on their Weibo page and announced that they would no longer use the brand's uniforms. The general collaboration between PSG and Nike doesn't stop the organization.
A few months ago, Nike officially said they were concerned about the use of forced labor in the western region of China, Xinjiang City. Even though the comment was made a long time ago, boycotts from the Chinese side began only now.
In the announcement, PSG.LGD declares that national interests are above all else for them. The club opposes unverified rumors about China. At the upcoming ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, the team will play in casual clothes.
The entire PSG.LGD roster has safely arrived in Singapore, and tomorrow the team will start playing at the Wild Card stage of ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021.
