Falcons reached the Grand Final, BetBoom Team and Nigma eliminated from TI 2025

The penultimate day of The International 2025 came to an end. Team Falcons reached the Grand Final. Nigma Galaxy and Heroic left the tournament in 5-6 place. BetBoom Team lost to Xtreme Gaming and took 4th place.

The day opened with a confrontation between Xtreme Gaming and Nigma Galaxy, from which the Chinese team emerged victorious in two maps. The first map was very chaotic, until the 30th minute the teams constantly exchanged 5 for 0. The game went into late, where the draft of Xtreme Gaming turned out to be much stronger. On the second map, Nigma Galaxy completely fell apart and made only four kills.

The second match was between BetBoom Team and Heroic. On the first map, Pure once again picked Anti-Mage for himself, but this time the team managed to carry 'Anti-Creep'. At the 40th minute, gpk~ single-handedly entered the enemy's Roshpit, stole the Aegis and launched a counter-attack:

After this moment, Heroic could no longer recover, died after buybacks and typed GG,WP. On the second map, Heroic won the draft stage very strongly. gpk~ had to play on an unfamiliar Timbersaw, and for MieRo` they picked Dark Seer, with the condition that there were three ranged heroes in the team.

The decisive map turned out to be very interesting. BetBoom Team won the lanes and gained a small advantage, but at the 22nd minute conducted an unsuccessful fight, due to which Heroic returned to the game. At the 35th minute, Heroic conducted another excellent fight 4 to 1, after which it seemed that BetBoom Team had no chance of winning. However, at the 40th minute, Pure remembered how he carried at The International 2024. Surviving Black Hole, Pure pressed Satanic and killed the entire enemy team. BetBoom Team took the Aegis and went to break the Highground.

In the decisive fight, Heroic once again lacked damage. Having died after buybacks, Heroic surrendered.

Next, Team Falcons played against PARIVISION. This game became the best in the tournament. On the first map, PARIVISION turned out to be several heads stronger. Their draft was perfect, they farmed the map better and conducted fights.

At the 40th minute, Team Falcons surrendered, it seemed that PARIVISION was too strong, but that was not the case. On the second map, Team Falcons banned signature Slark and Monkey King for 9Class, who had to play on an uncomfortable Clockwerk. The map was quick, in 32 minutes PARIVISION made only four kills.

In the decisive map, Team Falcons once again focused on 9Class. This time they banned Slark, Monkey King, and Pudge. Team Falcons broke ahead from the very beginning, PARIVISION had only one hope left - Satanic on Juggernaut, who joined the game at the 32nd minute. However, the first attempt to fight failed, PARIVISION had to retreat to the base and try to buy key artifacts. At the 46th minute, Team Falcons made a mistake when entering the Highground, which brought PARIVISION back into the game:

The game became tense and went into late, but at the 64th minute Satanic made a gross mistake, pressing Omnislash twice into Lotus Orb:

The decisive fight happened at the 65th minute, ATF caught DM flying on Icarus Dive after buyback with the help of Abyssal Blade, after which PARIVISION finally crumbled:

Team Falcons reached the grand final where they will play tomorrow with the winner of the lower bracket final.

In the conclusion of the day, BetBoom Team showed a terrible uncoordinated team game against Xtreme Gaming and were eliminated from the tournament in two maps. On the first - Xtreme Gaming picked Anti-Mage, understanding that in late he would be unkillable. Having endured until the 50th minute, Xtreme Gaming won several fights in a row and easily finished the game. On the second map, BetBoom Team already had huge chances to win in late, choosing Faceless Void and Monkey King. At the 58th minute, BetBoom Team conducted a perfect fight, knocking out all buybacks from the cores of Xtreme Gaming, but failed to finish during this time due to stupid mistakes by Pure. As a result, the game went into hyper-late, where Ame on Sven killed the entire enemy team in a few hits.

In the post-match interview, gpk~ shared his emotions and revealed a small insight:

'After the 60th minute, our people don't hear each other and complete chaos begins. Plans for the next season are already in place, there will be no time to rest. Thank you for supporting us and don't be mad at Pure, he tried very hard to win, but it didn't work out.'

The International 2025 is taking place from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. At the moment, the tournament prize pool is 2.65 million dollars.
