Chinese teams went 3-0, Nemesis were the first to leave the tournament, results of the second day of TI 2025
The second day of The International 2025 has concluded. Xtreme Gaming and Team Tidebound defeated Team Falcons and PARIVISION respectively and went 3-0. Tomorrow they will play for a spot in the upper bracket of the playoffs. Team Nemesis lost to BOOM Esports in the elimination match and left the tournament.
Xtreme Gaming and Team Falcons played a five-hour bo3, in which Xtreme Gaming emerged as the winners. The teams showed the highest level of Dota. All maps were extremely even, but the drafts of Xtreme Gaming proved to be stronger twice in the late game.
In the decisive map, skiter joked about Ame, who had an insane KDA of 90 before this game:
- KDA ruined, the day can be considered successful
In response, Ame remained silent, only tipping skiter, but after Team Falcons wrote GG - Ame wrote in the general chat 'gg))))))))'
Team Tidebound rolled over PARIVISION. On the first map, the Chinese picked signature Tinker for NothingToSay, who delivered a brilliant performance, finishing with a 4/1/16 stat. 9Class couldn't fully reveal the potential of support Magnus, his KDA was 1/14/6. On the second map, PARIVISION picked Tinker for Satanic as the first pick, but Bach on Doom built a Pipe, and shiro on Nature's Prophet acquired MKB, which made Team Tidebound much stronger in the late game. Winning one fight 6 to 1, Team Tidebound completely recovered the deficit and didn't let go of the second map.
Team Nemesis were the first to leave The International 2025, losing to BOOM Esports. Recall, both teams qualified for the tournament by defeating Talon Esports. The match was quick, the teams constantly complained about server issues, but did not prolong long pauses.
The International 2025 is taking place from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. At the moment, the tournament's prize pool is 2.44 million dollars.
