33 Leaves Team Liquid After Winning TI
Team Liquid has announced probably the most shocking roster transfer this season. After becoming a two-time TI winner, 33 has decided to leave the Team Liquid squad for an unspecified reason.
It is rumored that 33 will return to Tundra Esports and form a new lineup with Whitemon and Saksa. Meanwhile, SabeRLighT will replace him at Team Liquid.
33 joined Team Liquid to replace zai ahead of the 2024 season. The Western European squad had a slow start to the year, but started finding its groove in the second half of the year, where they finished second at Riyadh Masters 2024.
A second place finish at Riyadh helped Team Liquid gain the confidence to show up for The International 2024, where they pulled off a flawless Playoff run, dropping zero maps and claiming the Aegis.
Team Liquid will announce its roster shortly, as they will appear for the PGL Wallachia Season 2 tournament that starts next week.
