Today's game day brought a lot of different emotions to both players and spectators. The underdogs showed complete dominance: judging by everything, the week-long break from games did not benefit the favorites.

The series between BetBoom Team and Tundra Esports turned out to be particularly resonant. For more than half a year, BetBoom Team could not overcome their kryptonite, and today was no exception. On the first map, Pure surprised with a Broodmother pick. As gpk~ later said: "Vanek decided to play Brood himself, there was another hero, but he chose Brood, I don't know Brood myself, you have to ask him." Besides the atypical draft, there was something else that broke BetBoom Team and made them stop playing Dota on the first map. Namely, the solo theft of Aegis of Immortal by 33:

Somehow, the team managed to take the second map with not the best draft. Puck was picked into Shadow Shaman, Monkey King stood against Beastmaster, MieRo` was given Earthshaker with a zero win rate, and the supports were not the most meta. However, gpk~ led his team to victory. He finished the map with a perfect score of 13/0/5.

On the third map, BetBoom Team made many critical mistakes. The map had many comebacks, but the decisive moment was the bait by BetBoom Team to go into the throne of Tundra Esports, losing which they pressed buybacks, which decided the outcome of the game. The MVP of the match was 33 with a KDA of 17/8/10 on Axe.

After the match, the players of BetBoom Team could not hold back their emotions: Save- cried right on stage, gpk~ said he felt empty, and Pure gave an interview barely holding back and being sparse with words, it seems he still hadn't fully realized how and why they lost to their kryptonite.

The outcome of the match between Team Liquid and Team Falcons was also a surprise. Unusual in the drafts: for the first time in the tournament, Windranger was chosen in the carry role for Team Liquid. On the first map, the teams played fairly academic and cautious Dota. The first serious fight took place only at the 28th minute, when Team Falcons already had a significant advantage.

The second map also turned out favorably for Team Falcons. ATF terrorized the entire map on his signature Razor, joined by Malr1ne who easily won mid on Beastmaster. The first finished the game with a score of 10/2/13, and the second 15/1/12.

After defeating the main contender for victory at the Esports World Cup 2025, Malr1ne finally concluded:

Esports World Cup 2025 takes place from July 8-19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 16 teams are fighting for a prize pool of 3 million dollars and a slot in the next Esports World Cup.
